Among the causes the IABN supports are those members who are involved in sports. IABN brother Brian Sneed brought to my attention that some of our newer members have reached the pinnacle in their sport.

Mark O’Donovan & Shane O’Driscoll are GOLD MEDAL WINNERS from the 2017 World Rowing Championships.  They beat out 68 other teams from around the world to win the ‘Lightweight Men’s Pair’.  The field was comprised of the same teams that competed in the Rio Olympics in 2016 and that will compete in Tokyo in 2020.   read more

Our New IABN Greater Dublin Leader

Jimmy O’Connell has stepped forward to help sheppard the Greater Dublin Chapter!

As I have told some of you, 1 in 4 IABN members who have joined our ranks the past 3 years is Rep. of Ireland based. It is our largest chapter, and probably the most difficult to get arms around. Jimmy will be working closely with Co- President Daniel Grennan on getting things moving with our members in that neck of the woods.

Jimmy is a natural for this post as he’s got a ton of energy, and his current role with as a Coordinator for the American College Dublin has him putting together events and making American/Ireland connections with both companies and individuals. read more
